Crook Tales for Two was my first published book cover illustration! The cover depicts the main characters Esme and Graydon in a style reminiscent of the Golden Age illustrator J. C. Leyendecker, perfect for this comedy, mystery, romance novel set in 1930s New York!
Art direction by the author Ellen Byerrum, and overall cover design and type placement completed by Bob Williams.
826 Valencia - Colouring Pages Designed by Students
826 Valencia is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting under-resourced students with their writing skills. As a volunteer illustrator, I've helped over twenty-five elementary school classes see their story settings and character designs actualized into colouring pages for their published books.
